Key Performance Objectives

Strategy Development and Execution

• Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior.
• Develop strategic insights that inform business decisions and drive organizational growth.
• Create presentations and reports that communicate strategic insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Use data and financial modelling to develop recommendations on key strategy initiatives.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in data analysis and strategy development Identify and analyse emerging trends that may impact the organization.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Content Acquisition, Marketing, and Product Development to develop strategic initiatives and investment priorities.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making processes, including content licensing agreements, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns.
• Assist in developing long-term strategic plans and business cases for new market expansion and growth opportunities.

Forecasting

• Building out long term financial and subscriber forecasts in detail.
• Liaising with team members and executives across the business to collect information and data, sense-check assumptions and incorporate their feedback into models.
• Working with the strategy team on scenario planning and forecasting and turning models into actionable recommendations.
• Analyse historical performance data and market trends to identify patterns and insights that inform forecasting models.
• Continuously monitor and refine forecasting methodologies to improve accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications Essential:

• Degree in business, Economics, technical or mathematical/analytical disciplines

Qualification Preferred:

• Postgraduate or further professional qualification also welcome (e.g. MBA / ACA etc.)

Experience

• 5-8 years strategy experience in business or major consultancy
• Clear track record of expert analysis and recommendation
• Strong financial modelling capability
• Ability to present to Group C-suite under pressure
• Excellent presentation skills -both verbal and written are critical
• Strong project management capability
• Team player – demonstrated ability to lead projects internal/external and across departments
• Ability to participate in strategic debate on an Executive Level
• Proven experience in data analysis, forecasting, and strategy development, preferably within the media, entertainment, or technology industry.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Passion for the streaming media industry and a deep understanding of consumer behaviour, content trends, and market dynamics.
