    Senior Brand Manager - Masterbrand

    Role Purpose

    • The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for ensuring the Vodacom Masterbrand outputs are aligned with the brand strategy, and are translated in line with the brand ambitions for the brand This includes managing & supporting all customers within the business, implementing guidelines that give the brand consistent manifestation across all business verticals and support functions
    • The role will provide clear direction for brand across the whole Vodacom business, working in close coordination with the Retail, Consumer Marketing, Digital Media, Product and Digital Channel teams. Outputs include ensuring the management of Vodacom Masterbrand and ensuring the brand corporate identity is managed effectively, efficiently and aligned with Masterbrand guidelines

    Your Responsibilities Will Include

    • Leading brand marketing campaign strategy and implementation across all aspects of brand, by leading brand strategy management, implementation, and corporate identity compliance
    • Driving network brand campaigns and ensuring Vodacom brand leadership communication principles are applied across all communication
    • Liaising with Vodafone on all brand related initiatives, and managing rollout of the campaigns in South Africa
    • Driving purpose communication across foundation and sustainability to position Vodacom as a purpose led brand
    • Managing brand agency outputs and ensuring all partner branding guidelines are clear and principles are applied
    • Driving key brand principles across the business and ensuring the Vodacom brand principles are correctly applied at every touch points
    • Managing & driving network pillar communication through driving network communication leadership across all technology types
    • Collaborating with all purpose division & CSI division to ensure the brand demonstrates its purpose across the market
    • Brand identity management alignment (CI) and drive compliance on all guidelines
    • Training and marketing brand toolkits across the business to drive compliance
    • Manage Internal Comms and culture brand alignment by ensuring all brand assets directives are complied with
    • Provide inspirational leadership and coaching across the Vodacom organisation, as well as external partners and agencies to enable delivery of marketing and commercial outcomes
    • The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
    • Must have technical/professional qualifications:
    • 3 years Strategic Brand or Strategic Marketing related Degree or National Diploma essential and
    • A minimum of 8 years relevant experience essential (per above) inclusive of:
    • experience in brand management and CI design
    • experience at brand management or brand design agency
    • Minimum Of 8 Years Relevant Experience Essential In
    • Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
    • Traditional and/or digital marketing across all relevant channels
    • Creating a positive brand compliance culture to the business to ensure the Vodacom brand is consistently applied across all business touch points
    • Creating and driving brand strategic plans to win market share from competitors and increase brand memorability
    • High experience in brand management across different business verticals to ensure best in class brand consistency & presence
    • Capable of working in a complex organisation and able to build strong relationships and credibility with multiple levels both internally and externally
