    Senior Clerk Internal Audit

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

    •  A three-year tertiary qualification at NQF level 6 in either internal auditing or accounting with auditing as a subject.
    •  Computer Literacy: MS Office
    •  2-5 years’ work experience in the field of either auditing/accounting/investigations.

    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

    •  Obtaining and scrutinising background information in preparing the initial and risk and assessment.
    •  Documenting system descriptions and performing walkthrough tests.
    •  Raising exceptions identified and confirmed.
    •  Execute audit procedures under supervision and documenting work according to the audit methodology.
    •  Prepare initial quality assurance readiness reviews.
    •  Assisting with general office administration.
    •  Capturing of on-line requisitions.
    •  Arranging travel arrangements for internal audit and audit committee.
    •  Submission of reports via document management system to management, audit committee and Council.
    •  Updating system information databases with qualitative and quantitative information on outcomes from audit programmes and assessments.
    •  Maintaining records of work in progress, notices and correspondence and updating filing.
    •  Executing the follow-up audits and documenting the audit result for submission to the Internal Auditor.
    •  Monitoring and reporting on implementation of Audit Committee recommendations and resolutions.
