Job Description:
As Senior Coordinator Management Accounting,

Your supply chain related responsibilities will include:

• Coordination of labour, capital and cost budgeting, planning and forecasting process and related reporting to meet due deadlines
• Translating financial and management accounting information  and compile standard processes, procedures and reports for relevant reporting items
• Perform quality check on variance analysis and monitoring Corporate office financial performance  
• Co-ordinate external audit queries and reporting on governance irregularities
• Compile all relevant JSE listing requirement templates
• Ensure compliance with financial governance
• Compile reconciliations as required
• Prepare incentive calculations and perform checks on calculations and compliance to rules
• Conduct evaluation of actual performance and interpret actual trends and forecast accordingly
• Quality review of month end and periodic reports as well as interim and year-end reporting

This role is based in the Finance Department at a Band 6 level reporting to the Central Financial Accounting Manager.

Qualifications:

• BCom Financial Management or Financial Accounting Degree

Experience:

• 5 years’ experience, three of which should be in a mining environment and management background
• Proven experience in a financial analysis role in a large multinational environment
• Must have extensive experience in performance reporting activities coupled with analysing & coordinating large volumes of data, thus interpreting these into various reports
• Advanced data analysis and management for decision-making
• Proficient in budgeting and forecasting
• Must have advanced experience in MS Office packages, Advanced Excel, SAP, Pivot Tables
