    Senior Director, Human Resources

    • The Senior Director, Human Resources is a leadership role, responsible for providing strategic HR leadership and internal consulting to the business and plays a critical execution role in the organization’s ongoing global transformation.
    • This role contributes at the broad business level to guide, develop, and drive business results while also having a strong emphasis as an operational, hands-on HR practitioner.
    • The Senior Director, Human Resources orchestrates people, structure, processes, and resources to support and implement the needs of this business whilst fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture focused on operational excellence.

    Key responsibilities:

    • Develops operational plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, performance management and recruitment.
    • Serves as a strategic and operational partner to the leadership team on HR related matters.
    • Acts as a confidential advisor on sensitive people matters, including coaching and team effectiveness.
    • Oversees implementation of all HR initiatives, systems and tactics.
    • Consults with executives and leaders in aligning HR offerings (such as talent identification and development, employee engagement, workforce and location strategies, compensation and performance management) to business goals.
    • Supervises the work of HR employees / team and provide guidance and coaching.
    • Serves as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions and/or workers’ councils.
    • Develops policies and procedures for senior leadership approval.
    • Monitors adherence to internal policies and procedures by ensuring relevance to legislation.
    • Compiles and develops monthly reports and HR metrics to manage the HR calendar, identifies potential trends, address concerns and to manage resources.
    • Manages and administers all aspects of the Human Resources function, policies and procedures.
    • Initiates and leads discussions on HR policies and procedures improvement to ensure they are up to date, business enabling practices.
    • Proactively stays informed of human resources trends and tendencies and how these can benefit the organization.
    • Leads and manages a team of HR professionals in the execution of the overall HR strategy.

    • Significantly vast knowledge of HR best practices, trends, and strategies to set direction and execute HR initiatives aligned with the organization's goals.
    • Significantly vast understanding of the company's industry, market dynamics, and key business drivers to align HR strategies with business objectives.
    • Significantly vast knowledge in talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to build a skilled and engaged workforce.
    • Significantly vast knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to ensure adherence to legal standards.
    • Significantly vast proficiency in organizational design, culture development, and change management to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.
    • Significantly vast knowledge of HR technology and data analytics to make data-driven decisions and optimize HR processes.
    • Significantly vast leadership skills to inspire and lead the HR team, promote a culture of excellence, and drive organizational change.
    • Ability to think strategically and develop HR strategies that align with the company's long-term vision.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey HR strategies and initiatives to senior leadership and employees.
    • Sound judgment and decision-making abilities to address complex HR challenges and make informed choices.
    • Excellent ability to negotiate and influence to collaborate with stakeholders and drive HR initiatives.
    • Excellent ability to build strong relationships with executive leaders, employees, and external partners.
    • Significantly vast resilience in navigating challenges and leading through uncertainty.

    Academic qualifications and certifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a Human Resources or a related field.
    • Advanced degree such as a master's degree or equivalent in a Human Resources field or alternatively an MBA is highly desirable.

    Required experience:

    • Significantly vast demonstrated experience in a HR Director role, preferably gained within a global IT organization.
    • Significantly vast experience in Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing strategies.
    • Significantly vast experience in HR systems and technology
    • Significantly vast demonstrated experience managing and leading a team of specialists and generalists in the HR field.
    • Significantly vast operational, hands-on delivery and demonstrated delivery of HR Policies, processes and programs.
