Senior Electricians at Stellenbosch Municipality

Minimum Requirements: 

• Completed recognised Trade Test as Electrician 
• Qualification in high voltage operations
• and construction (switching, phasing, fault finding and safety) Valid ORHVS Certificate 
• 3-5 years post apprenticeship relevant experience (MV, LV, HV in the electricity distribution field of which 2-years in a supervisory role
• Valid Code C1 driver’s licence with valid PrDP.

Other Requirements: 

• First Aid 
• Ability to handle high voltage pressure testing and cable fault finding equipment
• Supervisory skills 
• Human relations and communication skills 
• Ability to give attention to detail 
• High level of responsibility 
• Ability to work under pressure without tolerance for errors 
• Language Proficiency in at least two of the three official Languages of the Western Cape (English, Afrikaans and Xhosa).
