Key Responsibilities

• Resolve complex mechanical engineering problems affecting generator and associated plant performance. 
• Develop and integrate lifecycle plans for generator mechanical systems and components. 
• Provide specialist engineering advice and technical support to Peaking Power Stations. 
• Manage engineering projects, plant modifications and technical investigations. 
• Perform technical and financial evaluations and recommend fit-for-purpose solutions. 
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications and technical requirements. 

Minimum requirements

Qualification(s):

• BSc/B Eng in Mechanical Engineering at NQF8 with 480 credits.

Related Minimum Experience:

• 4 years’ related experience in technical experience and engineering related technologies

Professional Registration:

• ECSA Professional Engineer
