The ideal candidate for the Senior Financial Accountant position brings a wealth of experience from the property development and construction industry. With a minimum of 4-5 years' experience post articles, you have a proven track record of working on the financial accounts of multiple companies within a group structure. Your up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs and South African income tax and vat, combined with your ability to prepare financials in CaseWare from a trial balance, sets you apart. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel will be key to your success in this role.
A BCom Honours degree in Accounting with majors in Accounting, Taxation combined with SAIPA or SAICA articles is required.
Minimum of 4-5 years of work experience post articles is essential.
Experience working on the financial accounts of multiple companies in a group structure is necessary.
Up-to-date theoretical and working knowledge of IFRS, IFRS for SMEs and South African income tax and vat iscrucial.
Ability to prepare financials in CaseWare from a trial balance is important.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail is needed.
Ability to work under pressure with excellent communication skills is vital.
