Job Description

Position Sumary:

• Supports marketing department in analyzing each campaign especially comparing plan against the results and providing explanation where needed.
• Assist marketing with the margin target setting for plan & forecasts.
• Set and maintain standard costs for both brands
• Assist in the development of cost saving initiative towards driving ZOG (air/ sea freight analysis).
• Monitors the capturing of inventory into the system against the supplier invoices.
• In-depth variance analysis to understand key drivers of variations.
• Ensuring that accounting concepts are adhered to – matching expenses to revenue.
• Success of this position would be determined by an extremely good business partnering relationship with the local marketing department and regional commercial marketing finance.
• The person granted this role needs to be financially astute, commercially aware and be able to challenge decisions (particularly regarding GM Target setting) as the need arises.

Principal Duties:

• Create sales allocation on a campaign basis for both brands.
• Ensure deadlines are met after each campaign, discussing any anomalies with marketing. Understand how marketing analyses the data and the impact on finance. Compare financial margins to marketing margin.
• Ensure standard costs are maintained in all systems.
• PPV analysis on products purchased from affiliates and Justine TPMs
• Reconciliation of various balance sheet accounts.
• Create, prepare and communicate detailed Freight analysis (including agreement of Air Freight budget and management with Supply Chain).
• Complete monthly variations reporting and communicate to Region.
• Deal with ad hoc data requests from various departments across the business and also from Regional Commercial Marketing Finance.
