Job Description:

• Oversee full financial management function, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of reporting
• Manage month-end, year-end, and statutory reporting requirements
• Liaise with funders and key stakeholders, providing clear financial insights and updates
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
• Collaborate with leadership to provide strategic financial guidance
• Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for developments and assets
• Build and maintain financial models, including revenue assumptions, cost structures, and returns
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess risks and opportunities
• Review covenant calculations and support financing submissions
• Assist with project feasibility, acquisitions, and disposals
• Analyse operational performance across portfolios and provide actionable insights
• Drive the adoption of technology to enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency and control
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives within finance processes and systems
• Evaluate new tools and platforms to support better decision-making
• Oversee the full debtor function, ensuring strong cash flow management
• Manage billing cycles, ensuring completeness and accuracy
• Monitor collections, enforce credit control policies, and address arrears
• Engage with clients/tenants to resolve financial queries and escalations
• Partner with cross-functional teams on contract transitions and financial handovers

Skills & Experience:

• CA(SA) with a minimum of 7 + years post article experience
• Minimum 5+ years in senior management role within the property Industry
• Extensive experience in large scale property industry and large property portfolios
• MDA system experience beneficial
