• The ideal candidate will be a confident leader who places guest safety, conservation and service excellence at the heart of every activity.

Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum FGASA Level 1 qualification.
• Relevant practical guiding experience.
• Previous experience in a Senior Guide position will be advantageous.
• Big Five guiding experience.
• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent communication and guest-relations skills.
• A strong commitment to conservation and guest safety.
• A professional, respectful and team-focused approach.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Lead and manage the guiding team.
• Maintain the highest standards of guiding and guest safety.
• Ensure compliance with all guiding protocols and radio procedures.
• Promote the conservation values and standards of the property.
• Conduct game drives and other guest activities.
• Train, develop and motivate the guiding team.
• Ensure guiding equipment is clean, maintained and properly cared for.
• Compile and manage guide work cycles.
• Promote teamwork and a positive working environment.
• Participate in guest hosting duties.
