    Senior:Human Capital Business Partner

    Purpose of the role:

    Do you have a keen understanding of translating a Segment People Strategy and business strategy into a Business Unit People Plan? Then this is the job for you! This role partners with the Business Unit executives to deliver the Business Unit People Plan. This position will be accountable for achieving results, over a 3-5 period.

    Role and responsibilities:

    • Defines and implements the People Plan for the Business Unit in alignment with the Segment business strategy and Segment People Strategy
    • Provides input into the Segment (iWyze) People Strategy.
    • Partners with BU executive teams to advise on people challenges and on how to drive BU people performance.
    • Advises on people priorities for the future, using insights from Human Capital Analytics and trends.
    • Manages the efficient implementation of the Human Capital Calendar.
    • Leads the development of organisational development and effectiveness plans to address medium business needs.
    • Advises BU Exco teams on improving employee engagement at all levels and on building a high-performance culture aligned to the overall Segment plans.
    • Leads the implementation of the Segment Talent and Leadership strategy and plan into the BU ensuring talent and leadership is effectively managed in the BU and grown to build a strong leadership and talent pool.
    • Leads BU Exco teams on how to respond to change efficiently and effectively.
    • Accountable for the customisation and implementation of several practices in the Segment.
    • Manages adherence to Human Capital controls and design and implement improvement initiatives to ensure an effective Human Capital risk and control environment.
    • Leads BU transformation aligned to targets set out by the Segment.
    • Effectively manages the Human Capital budget for BU reducing Human Capital operational expenses.
    • Accountable for ensuring that key BU people priorities are met.
    • Maintains an effective Human Capital team within the BU.
    • Contributes to Human Capital synergies across OMEM.
    • Share and transfer product, process and systems knowledge to colleagues and team members.
    • Collaborate and work with the business to deliver required service levels.
    • Actively share information with other team members regarding successes, issues, trends and ideas.

    • Hon Degree
    • 8 years Human Capital generalist experience
    • 3-5 years strong ER experience
    • Experience leading HC within a call center environment would be advantageous
    • Additional management or Business Qualification or a registered psychologist with the HPCSA advantageous
