    Senior Lecturer/Lecturer

    Job description

    Teaching & Learning

    • Presenting undergraduate & postgraduate modules.
    • Development of new modules and updating of study guides.

    Research & Innovation

    • Supervision of postgraduate students and the publication of research papers in accredited journals.

    Organisational & management tasks

    • Assist with management tasks

    Minimum requirements

    • Senior Lecturer - PhD in Applied Mathematics is essential
    • Lecturer - MSc in Applied Mathematics is essential

    Experience

    • Senior Lecturer

    Three years' experience in Teaching undergraduates & postgraduate is essential

    Three years' experience in Supervision of postgraduate students and a track record of research publications is essential

    Lecturer

    • Two years' experience in Teaching undergraduate is essential
    • Must be registered for a PhD
    • Functional / Technical Competencies (Knowledge and Skills)
    • Knowledge of Latex, Matlab, Word & Excel

    Behavioral Competencies

    • Work independently, but also as a team
    • Have very good people skills
    • Professional and ethical behavior
    • Be able to act as a mentor for junior staff
