Key Functional Duties:

Financial Planning and Analysis:

•  Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and comprehensive financial plans.
•  Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
•  Implement and maintain financial models to assess and project the company's financial performance.

Management Reporting:

•  Generate timely and accurate financial reports for senior management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
•  Provide insightful commentary on financial results, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.

Cost Management:

•  Analyse and control costs across various departments, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
•  Collaborate with operational teams to develop and monitor key cost drivers.

Financial Accounting and Compliance:

•  Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
•  Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Strategic Advisory:

•  Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and business development opportunities.
•  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial implications of proposed projects and investments.

Process Improvement:

•  Identify opportunities for process improvement within the entity, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
•  Assist in streamlining entity processes and systems to support evolving business needs.

Team Leadership:

•  Supervise and mentor junior finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
•  Provide training and professional development opportunities to ensure the team's continuous growth.

Required Prior Learning/ Experience:

•  Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•  CIMA qualified.
•  5+ years proven experience in a similar role.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

•  Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
•  Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
•  Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
