Senior Manager, Data Science(Compliance Monitoring) at Standard Bank Group

Job Description

• To lead the development and execution of an automated, data‑driven compliance monitoring capability by applying data science and advanced analytics to deliver continuous, proactive assurance across lines of defence.
• The role is accountable for embedding intelligent automation into compliance monitoring processes and driving adoption through effective change management, governance, and capability uplift.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Information Technology or related 

Experience Required

• 1-2 years - Implemented automation solutions across business units or formed part of a team that implemented automation solutions using Workfusion, SAS, Python or Microsoft software suite.
• 3-4 years - Analysis and Design of automation solution with a basic understanding of underlying systems that are used for the automation.
• 8-10 years - The role requires an experienced leader who is customer focused with proven automation capability and profound knowledge of the full dimensions of the field.
• Experience in leading business enablement practices, processes and systems to enable customer value add for the business. 
• Financial Services/Banking experience is preferred. 
• Travel maybe required to Africa Regions.
