Senior Manager: Enterprise Risk Management at South African National Blood Service (SANBS)

Introduction

The Incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating the management, monitoring, reporting of the SANBS’s Enterprise Risk Management. To consult with and to coach management in responding to risk. To ensure a safe and secure working environment in SANBS.

Job description

• Manage and oversee Enterprise-wide Risk Management function and implementation
• Ensure organisational compliance to the SANBS ERM framework and principles
• Ensure development and implementation of a business continuity strategy and plan
• Develop awareness and provide Enterprise-wide Risk Management training to build a culture of risk management
• Advise Senior Management/Board relating to compliance with and implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management process
• Provide Enterprise Risk Management training and development where required
• People managed to achieve operational objectives (When the team is expanded)

Minimum requirements

Education:

• B Comm (Accounting/ Finance) or B Tech (Risk Management) or relevant degree
• Post graduate in management (preferred)

Experience:

• At least 5 years in Enterprise Risk Management at senior management level
• Business/Operational experience in any industry
• Compliance management 

 Other (Knowledge and Skills):

• Understanding of quality requirements and DMs
• Health industry dynamics (preferred)
• Applicable/relevant risk legislation, policies and procedures
