Senior Manager: Fraud and Risk Solutions at Ozow

• We’re looking for a Senior Manager: Risk & Fraud Solutions to lead the development of innovative fraud solutions that will shape the future of merchant risk management. This is a strategic opportunity to build on innovative products, with the potential to commercialise and position Ozow as a market leader in fraud innovation. 

Your role and responsibilities: 

Fraud Solution Innovation & Commercialisation 

• Define and drive the long-term vision for Ozow’s fraud product offering. 
• Identify opportunities for commercialisation and value-added services for merchants. 
• Benchmark against global fraud innovation leaders to ensure competitive positioning. 

Strategic Product Roadmap Execution 

• Translate high-level strategic input into detailed product requirements and user stories. 
• Prioritise and manage the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements. 
• Maintain and improve SLAs for fraud-related applications and tools. 

Fraud Rule Engine & Automation Enhancement 

• Oversee the implementation and optimisation of fraud rules and detection logic. 
• Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to enhance rule engines and automation. 
• Ensure regulatory compliance and support merchant onboarding from a fraud perspective. 

Leadership 

• Lead the fraud product strategy and roadmap, working closely with internal stakeholders and external engineering teams. 
• Act as the fraud domain expert, guiding product decisions with deep industry knowledge. 
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Compliance, Risk, Engineering, and Commercial teams to align product goals. 

Tool Utilization + Change Management 

• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and processes related to fraud systems. 
• Lead the implementation of fraud detection software and integrations (e.g., TransUnion, rule engines). 
• Champion automation and AI-driven enhancements to improve fraud detection and operational efficiency. 

You are an ideal candidate if you have: 

• Proven experience in fraud product management, ideally with exposure to card fraud and merchant risk. 
• Strong technical fluency and ability to work with engineering teams to build scalable solutions. 
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to operate independently and drive innovation. 
• Experience in building fraud tools, rule engines, or working with machine learning-based fraud systems. 
• A strategic mindset with a passion for solving complex problems and delivering impactful products.
