• The Senior Manager: Salesforce in NTT is an information technology professional who takes accountability for the directing, design, development and implementation of new applications and upgrades for systems to meet business requirements. These employees usually direct the design of new applications from conception to completion and oversee the technical staff involved with the development project, including overseeing and directing software application upgrades.
• They work closely with internal clients to develop applications and are the single point of responsibility for the application solutions required, including their functionality and are required to work on and close out multiple application projects simultaneously. They help determine how technology can be applied to meet internal client and business requirements by crafting high level solutions and work breakdown.
• They have expert knowledge on multi-technology application and infrastructure design best practice which enables them to act as trusted advisors to business stakeholders on optimal designs. They use business requirements to advise on the design, deployment and operation of infrastructures.
• They usually assume the role of the technical leaders for new application design projects. They have good knowledge of project management principles and they ensure that projects with clients are executed accordingly. They ensure the testing of applications for efficiency and resolve escalated problems with the design prior to deployment.
• The Senior Manager: Salesforce ensures that throughout the development phase the process is documented leading to the development of procedures for application use and security. He/she ensures that these procedures and tools are readily available and regularly maintained.

Implementation

• The Senior Manager: Salesforce is responsible for directing the implementation of the application by ensuring the evaluation, testing and modification of the application until its functionality meets business and internal client goals. He/she may be required to consult with the relevant Technical teams and end-users to ensure the application functions appropriately.

Evaluation

• When the application has been tested and is ready for deployment, the Senior Manager: Salesforce ensures the provision of the relevant documentation, training and support to the relevant teams to ensure the highest level of performance and security.
