Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply Chain (CIPS), Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO) or Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) can be beneficial.
7-10 years of experience in supply chain management with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role working in or within a public sector organisation.
Experience in managing large, complex supply chain management operations with multiple stakeholders.
Thorough understanding of public sector procurement processes including laws, regulations, and ethical considerations.
Strong analytical skills to assess supply chain management performance and implement improvements.
Financial acumen to manage budget, analyse cost implications and ensure cost-effective procurement.
Risk management skills to identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain management.
