Senior Municipal Public Accounts Committee Officer
To monitor compliance on Municipal Public Accounts support.
Requirements:
Matric Certificate
Diploma/Degree (NQF Level 6) in Public Administration/Law/Political Science /Ethics/Public Governanc /Financial Management/Accounting/Auditing recognised by SAQA
Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in municipal administration or municipal governance environment
A valid driver’s license.

Ensure compliance with Financial Regulation, Municipal Financial Management Act and municipal policies
Analyse Municipal Financial reports and statements
Facilitate municipal Public Accounts Committee meeting and hearings
Maintain Public Account Stakeholder engagements
Review implementation of Public Accounts recommendations
Provide Public Accounts capacity building programmes
