Senior Operations Manager at AfroCentric Group

Brief Role Description

• To manage and be responsible for several business development activities performed by teams. Business development activities include, but are not limited to: The management of business leads; the development, implementation and management of appropriate strategies for the company; the creation and development of new business opportunities for the company; market intelligence services for the company; industry relationship management for the company; innovation management; and proposals and tenders management. Provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, systems and people in place to effectively grow the organisation and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency

Duties and responsibilities for this role:

• Ensure a full understanding of existing industry relationships that exist between Afrocentric Distribution Services and other industry stakeholders
• Oversee the day-to day operations of the business and the work of Teams in area of responsibility (including IT, Support Services, New
• Business Support, Training and Customer Management Support)
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
• Provide business support and insight that enables the achievement of excellence and alignment to customer needs
• Behave in alignment with the Afrocentric Values

Qualifications:

• Business Management degree or relevant business qualification

Experience

• 10 years’ experience, with 5 years related experience at senior management level
