    Senior/Principal Portfolio Analyst

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in data analytics/ statistics/ actuarial sciences/ information systems/ engineering/ business management sciences/ financial management
    • Five (Senior) and Eight (Principal) years’ relevant experience coupled with proven experience in a senior role
    • Advanced computer literacy
    • A valid Code B/EB driver’s licence

    Knowledge and skill in the following tools will be advantageous:

    • R, Python, SQL, VBA
    • Domain-specific experience or knowledge in any of the following key areas would be advantageous: Project portfolio management, programme management, project management, contract management and engineering

    Key Performance Areas

    • To undertake analysis, involving information and data from multiple stakeholders across various projects, programmes and portfolios of the organisation
    • Facilitate the development and ongoing management of an optimised portfolio, and assist in ensuring senior management - decisions lead to the fulfilment of strategic objectives through delivery of programmes and projects.
    • Provide reporting services to the portfolio, programme and projects through the collation of data and generation of reports to multiple audiences.
    • Ensure the continuous identification and monitoring of portfolio risks through access to reliable and up-to-date information.
    • Implement appropriate communication strategies with fellow
    • professionals, as well as internal and external clients, to share and work on issues of common interests and/or to share information.
