    Senior Process Analyst - Order to Cash/Client Billing

    Description

    • To support the implementation of a significant Global Finance Transformation Program Dentons is currently recruiting an Interim Global Finance Senior Process Analyst-Order to Cash/Client Billing. This position will report to a Global Finance Process Lead-Order to Cash to deliver transformed Dentons global finance processes.
    • The Global Finance Transformation Program has a number of work streams focusing on different aspects of the finance service catalogue, each will be supported by an Interim Global Finance Senior Process Analyst. These roles will be required to work with the global and regional process leads as well as with other senior global and regional analysts, supporting the design and documentation of a global 'template' to be used for each of the proposed three waves of implementation, and working with global and regional change agents to embed the change within the business.
    • The Global Finance Transformation Program is a truly global program designed to transform Dentons' Finance function into the business partnering function of the future. It will support the business by offering true business insight, efficient and effective processes while maintaining the necessary compliance and controls.

    Key Deliverables

    Support the global process lead to:

    • Design and delivery of billings/ e-billings best practice global processes to support Dentons achieving Finance Transformation business outcomes, in line with the Global Design standards as defined by the Finance Transformation Program;
    • Design and delivery of process operational performance metrics and supporting performance reporting.
    • Design and delivery of process financial controls and controls reporting.
    • Propose the Global Operating Model design for finance processes to achieve the Finance Transformation business outcomes and delivery of this in conjunction with the Change Management team and Regional Leadership teams.
    • Create the process section of the Global Finance Manual including regional / country specific guidelines where required.
    • Ensuring that the billing processes are aligned to the overall Global Dentons solution through close working with other Global / Regional Process Leads, SMEs and Technical and Business Solution Architect.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design
    • Support the Global Process Lead to design and deliver an agreed, consolidated and prioritized set of requirements for billings process that define what needs to be changed to move the organization to the target state;
    • Support the Global Process Lead to design and deliver the global ways of working;
    • Support the Global Process Lead to design and deliver the financial controls for billings process;
    • Support the Global Process Lead to design and deliver the operational and transaction reporting and performance metrics;
    • Support the definition of user access rights and security within Dentons' Global guidelines;
    • Support the definition of the reporting suite (transactional, operational and control & compliance reporting) for client billing.
    • Standards
    • Support the creation of the process global standards;
    • Support the creation of the process standard operating procedures documentation incorporating the Dentons GAAP;
    • Support the definition of the Operating Model changes and the management of the approval process with Regional Process Leads and Regional Leadership;
    • Support the maintenance of the Global Design's integrity during wave roll-outs;
    • Support the assessment of Global Design change requests and the presentation of change request proposals to the Business Solution Architect and Business Design Authority.

    Collaboration/Support for

    • Data architecture and data conversion / cleansing
    • Business Intelligence reporting requirements through process design
    • Technical teams during development and support system integration testing
    • Training needs analysis
    • Business testing, including scenario definition
    • Change team in creating impact of change assessments
    • Training team in creating global training materials and participate in training material approval
    • Training team in delivery of training
    • Change Management team to effect the Operating Model changes
    • Change team in creating process and Operating Model-related change communications
    • Regional Process Leads to maintain the Global Design and agree the regional requirements
    • Business cutover and service transition planning and execution
    • Post go live support model, triage user-reported incidents from a process perspective

    Support for Design Authority engagement and Senior Leadership stakeholder management:

    • Support the Global Process Lead with senior stakeholder management:
    • Provide documentation and business rationale to enable design decisions to be made;
    • Support governance of the agreed design throughout the lifecycle of build and implementation;
    • Support engagement with Regional Process Leads and SMEs in the organization to ensure that all requirements are being met.
    • Support for risk and issue management:
    • Support the Global Process Lead to resolve issues with the Business Design Authority.
    • Support development of design and blueprint:
    • Attend the Business Design /Blueprint workshops to ensure that the Target Operating Model is consistently represented

    About You

    • Strong Billings/E-billings experience preferably with leading law firms
    • Business international level of English – both written and oral.
    • Demonstrable progressive experience in the areas of data analytics.
    • Experience of influencing and engaging stakeholders, including building and managing relationships within a diverse global firm.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting demands.
    • Strong intellectual rigor and commercial awareness.
    • Strategically focused, results driven and well-developed analytical skills.
    • Solutions orientated with the ability to address problems by gathering relevant information and formulating alternatives

    Significant experience and a proven track record in/as:

    • Experience analyzing, creating and modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques;
    • Strong communication skills and the demonstrable ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations;
    • Strong situational analysis and ability to articulate the true requirements;
    • Must be a team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus;
    • Be able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others;

    You will possess:

    • The ability to act as a liaison conveying information in suitably accurate models between the business unit and their counterparts within Information Technology. The scope of this information includes business requirements, data constraints, business rules, models of strategy and motivation, processes, accountabilities, and many other business and IT operational needs;
    • The ability to recognise structural issues within organizations, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies. Those issues may exist in role alignment, process gaps and overlaps, and business capability maturity gaps;
    • The ability to apply architectural principles, methods, and tools to business challenges;
    • The ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to Dentons and to high-priority business issues;
    • The ability to visualize and create high-level models (rigorous information-rich diagrams) that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture;
    • Possess a broad, enterprise-wide view of organizations and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance.

    Essential Qualifications / Experience

    • Experience of working as an analyst on international projects;
    • Experience of working in a legal/professional services firm;
    • Experience of working with finance processes,;
    • Experience of key Legal Firm software including Thomson Reuters 3E, Intapp, ebilling hub
    • Experienced in creating both functional and non-functional documentation, including requirements traceability matrices.
    • Experience working on 3E, e-Billing Hub or Elite Enterprise experience
