Senior Professional Officer - Electrical Engineering
B. Eng or B.Sc. (Eng) degree in Electrical Heavy or Light Current Engineering.
Five (5) to eight (8) years’ relevant experience of electrical systems including the Design and Commissioning of Low Voltage and or Medium and High voltage secondary and primary plant and equipment post first relevant tertiary qualification.
Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer
Valid driver’s licence.
Computer proficient in MS Office Suite, SAP and Electrical Protection Software Packages; as well as Dig Silent/Retic Master
Extensive exposure to Electrical protection and control systems, electrical distribution equipment and electrical distribution infrastructure, with particular emphasis and knowledge relating to LV and MV (distribution switchgear, transformers, miniature substations and substations ancillary equipment and variable speed drives). Experience in Process Control Systems will be an added advantage.
