Senior Professional Officer - Leasing at City of Cape Town

Requirements

• A relevant First Degree / BTech in Property Management or Law
• Five (5) years relevant experience (See KPA’s)
• A valid driver’s licence.
• Computer Proficiency

Key Performance Areas

• Investigating and processing lease applications for the region.
• Drafting/Vetting of reports and memos to be submitted for approval
• by the Sub councils, IPAC committee, Full Council or Director
• Property Transactions.
• Concluding lease, drafting lease agreements, negotiating terms and conditions of agreements, concluding agreements, contract management and administration.
• Instituting appropriate quality control measures, supervision and management of leasing staff.
• Approving submissions for capturing of lease-out agreements on
• SAP Real Estate Module and approve Property Transaction
• Management System workflow items.
• Providing property related information and advice to relevant stakeholders.
• Participating in Branch workflow and feedback meetings.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS TO THE ROLE:

• Must be available to be called upon in case of emergencies.
• Must be capable of performing field work
