Candidate Engineer (Essential) and Professional registration with ECSA (Pr Eng) (Advantageous)
Registration as Pr PM advantageous

Key Performance Areas
Undertaking infrastructure provision planning and project identification, in order to ensure appropriate infrastructure development planning which is legally compliant and in accordance with the strategic mandate of the City
Undertaking the activities associated with project initiation and planning in accordance with the medium- and long-term
Capital Budget and the IDP
Undertaking the implementation and commissioning of
Infrastructure projects in order to ensure project execution in accordance with the City's strategic mandate and to facilitate service delivery.
Implementation and planning of capital projects.
Improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the operations and service delivery function, to ensure compliance with permit conditions.
Liaising with stakeholders in order to optimise the benefits of cooperative governance, interaction and communication to
ensure projects and service delivery is expedited, and best available technologies are adopted
Supporting the development of frameworks for project management.
Assisting with plans to guide the execution and integration of projects, programmes and resources
Excellent analytical abilities and must have attention to detail
Manage the compliance and quality aspects of the specific projects allocated to ensure that all the projects comply with all statutory requirements, project specifications and regulations
