Senior Quality Assurance Analyst at Altron Bytes Systems Integration

Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Analyst to work in the Insurance Industry. IFRS 9, IFRS 17 knowledge is preferable. The successful candidate in this role will form a part of the Quality Assurance Team to ensure that a high-quality product is delivered to our Client. Your main function will be that of a QA Analyst who will perform Manual and Automated Testing. We need a person who is passionate about Testing and Quality. Might be required to mentor small team.

Responsibilities:

Testing:

• Perform manual feature testing
• Requirement Analysis; Create test plans and test scripts; Execute test plans
• Identify and analyze defects. Log defects and track defect resolution
• Create Automated test cases using Selenium
• Maintain quality assurance environment
• Troubleshooting, support, problem solving and analysis of issues/failures
• Might be required to mentor small team

Education Required:

• National Diploma or B-Tech/ Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering degree

Experience Required:

• Min of 8 years extensive testing experience

Essential Competencies:

• Strong SQL experience
• Experienced in Automation Testing using Selenium
• Data knowledge – understanding data modeling
• Software testing experience
• Self-starter
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Deadline driven, able to work in pressurized environment
• Compliance with procedures and processes
• Must be able to work well as part of a team and independently
• Good analysis skills; Good problem-solving skills
• Must have a positive and professional attitude
• Good communication skills

Advantageous Competencies:

• IFRS9 and IFRS17 experience
• Re-insurance experience
• Insurance Industry experience
