Senior Server Engineer (MS 365, Exchange 2010, Active Directory) (KZN) at Datafin Recruitment

ENVIRONMENT:

• PROVIDE Enterprise Server support to clients of a dynamic Internet Service & Network Specialist seeking its next Senior Server Engineer for its KwaZulu-Natal Division. The ideal candidate must have Grade 12/Matric, Microsoft Certifications such as MCSA 2016 and Vendor Certifications Eg, HPE Dell, Lenovo.
• You will also need 5 years’ experience in a similar technical role with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Operating systems, VMware and Hyper-V hypervisors install and configure experience and experience with Backup products including Veeam & Acronis.
• You will also require Datacentre deployment knowledge and must be able to work independently and under pressure.

REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications –

• Matric Grade 12 (Compulsory).
• Microsoft 365.
• Microsoft Platform Certifications.
• Microsoft MCSA 2016 or equivalent.
• Vendor Certifications Eg, HPE Dell, Lenovo.

Experience/Skills –

• 5 Years of solid technical experience.
• Microsoft 365 experience.
• Extensive experience supporting Microsoft Exchange 2010 or higher.
• ITIL v2 Foundation.
• Extensive experience supporting Active Directory and Hyper V.
• Extensive experience supporting multi-Vendor Hardware platforms.
• Backup product.
• MS O365.
• Veeam.
• Deploying Hypervisors.
• Deploying new Hardware and Configuring.

Advantageous –

• Hardware troubleshooting across HPE, IBM, Lenovo, Huawei and other platforms.
