Senior Specialist: Test Analyst | Europcar | Bruma at Motus Holdings Limited

Position Overview    

The purpose of this job is to carry out and coordinate testing activities to ensure that agreed system criteria and quality attributes are met, root cause issues are identified, appropriate recommendations made, and feedback provided to support effective project and product delivery.  Provide team mentorship as required.

Specific Role Responsibilities    

• Mentor Team
• Extract requirements from all sources
• Document testing requirements
• Document Test Plans
• Identify all scenarios to be tested
• Design and construct effective test cases
• Define testing scope and approach.
• Construct test plans.
• Identify and/or design and manage test data
• Perform risk management, i.e. raise and manage testing risks
• Log, review and manage defects.
• Provide adequate progress tracking and reporting.
• Display excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Engage with and support the Test Manager
• Execute regression packs in order to support project finalization
• Support and assist UAT

Qualifications and Experience    

Minimum Experience

• 5+ years testing experience as a Test Analyst required.
• Full understanding of the SDLC and TLC

Preferred Experience

• ERP testing or accounting system testing experience.
• Experience testing Adabas systems.
• Experience testing e-commerce systems.
• Experience in integration and exploratory testing.

Minimum Qualification

• Grade 12/Senior Certificate.
• ISTQB Advanced Level Certification.

Preferred Qualification

• Tertiary qualification in the financial industry (e.g. B.Com degree, diploma)
