    Senior Strategic Planner

    • We are looking for a Senior Strategic Planner, responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives that drive business growth and success. To work closely with other departments in understanding their needs and developing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.

    Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

    • Senior planner who can lead a brand, foster great client relationships and partner with creative.
    • Creating effectively lead strategies that impact both business, society and culture.
    • Responsible for partnering with creative to deliver impact with modern capabilities with digital being a core skillset.
    • Mentoring and growing junior planners

    Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

    • Define and understand the core target audience
    • Demographic, psychographic, behavioural and attitudinal
    • Apply insight to shape brand development and product platform ideation
    • Ability to craft strategic platforms, communication strategies and brand positioning that allows for a leap creatively.
    • Leverage data in shaping strategies
    • Creative brief writing, developing messaging hierarchy.
    • Stay current and connected to culture
    • Trends, insight and foresight
    • Be available as a strategic sounding board in working end-to-end across disciplines.
    • Take part in agency pitches when called upon.

    Education & Experience

    • 3-5 years of experience as a senior strategist.
    • Research friendliness - understands how to apply qualitative and quantitative learning.
    • Cultural voyeur - knows how to tap into pop culture.
    • Critical thinking skills - analytical, creative and lateral.
    • Marketing insight, in looking for actionable insights.
    • Strategic provocateur, in being curious and questioning.
    • Can tell and sell a story - with strong presentation and writing skills
    • Can trawl for insight wide and deep - business, consumer, brand, touch points
    • Digital savvy and can leverage the power of social media for insights
