Senior Structural Engineer at Zutari

Role Responsibilities:

• A solid background in leading Civil infrastructure design projects in the Industrial market (Petrochemical, Mining, Energy Infrastructure), and experience leading Multidisciplinary Design teams
• Act as a Structural Design lead on projects in Australia and New Zealand, with experience in large integrated projects.
• Lead small to medium sized Structural Engineering teams, focusing on technical delivery and design compliance with international standards
• Lead and reviewing drafting and modelling outputs on medium to large integrated projects.
• Sound knowledge in the use of a variety of civil engineering analysis software. Advanced computer skills with working knowledge of CAD Software.
• General understanding of BIM processes. (Working knowledge will be advantageous)
• Knowledge and experience of Australia and New Zealand engineering codes, standards, and practices.
• Strong work winning, client-facing capability and experience
• Confident, well-spoken, self-starter, disciplined, detail and deadline/delivery orientated.
• Excellent communication skills (proven ability to interact well with personnel at all organizational levels)
• Excellent organizational skills (ability to plan and implement) and Time Management skills.

Minimum requirements

• MSc/BSc or MEng/BEng in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in Rail/Substation structures experience
• PrEng registration is a must
