    Senior Systems Administrator

    The Senior Systems Administrator of Financial Management Systems (FMS) is responsible for coordinating new system developments, managing the support team and providing high level support to various users of the Finance Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP), Travel IT, workflow and other peripheral systems. The role is also responsible for performing system maintenance, audits, administrative tasks, conducting training associated with the financial management systems used by the company and working collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth running of financial systems and processes.

    Key Accountabilities (included but not limited to)

    • Gather requirements for new system developments, conduct workshops with stakeholders to document and scope developments required, ensuring these adhere to company policies.
    • Coordinate development work with external service providers, conduct and facilitate testing of developments.
    • Facilitate go-live of new developments, ensuring timelines on system development roadmap are adhered to.
    • Prepare user guides on all existing system processes and maintain for all new system developments and process updates.
    • Plan and conduct user training across the organisation.
    • Ensure necessary reviews and controls are in place to meet audit requirements.
    • Lead contact on system audits
    • In close collaboration with corporate IT, monitor financial management systems resources, including resource usage and response times to minimize disruptions to business.
    • Ensure the integrity of the financial systems, underlying structures and associated processes.
    • Coordinate support between internal functions and external technical service providers.
    • Setup new user profiles for financial management systems and administer the security requirements and user profiles for all system users.
    • Manage risk around user profile maintenance, both on the systems and the database
    • Manage the support desk team to ensure high level of support service is provided to the business and SLA is met or exceeded
    • Provide high level support to users of financial management systems and systematically monitor the timeliness of support resolution.
    • Perform other related duties as required

    Qualifications

    Essential qualifications

    • Advanced diploma or equivalent

    Experience & Skills

    • Min 3 years’ experience working in a role that involves financial management systems administration.
    • Min 2 years’ experience managing service support platform
    • Supplier relationship management
    • A strong finance/accounting background is essential.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with demonstrable project management & change management experience relating to implementing new system developments
    • Proficiency in MS Office – able to use all MS Office tools
    • Demonstrable experience conducting training sessions with different groups of people
    • Specific experience with SunSystems, SunFlow and Zendesk would be advantageous
