Senior Systems Engineer: Managed Services IT at IPT Holdings

Position profile:

To maintain a customer’s ICT environment as per client’s Service Level Agreement, with the business knowledge and technical skills to implement technical strategies, evaluate products and provide a superior level of technical support to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Set-up and troubleshoot Active Directory Environment
• Set-up and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange Environments
• Set-up and troubleshoot SAN and Storage connectivity related issues
• Set-up, troubleshoot and upgrade server hardware (HP/DELL/Fujitsu/Huawei)
• Set-up and maintain customer firewalls
• Implementation of managed antivirus solutions
• Documenting and adhering to strict procedures and policies
• Support LOB Applications

Experience requirements:

• Managed Services Experience
• 7 Years + Industry Experience
• Implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining Hypervisor cluster environments. (Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix, Oracle)
• Implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining storage networks. (iscsi, FC and converged).
• Implementing, troubleshooting and maintaining SAN and NAS storage. (HP, Dell, Fujitsu, Huawei, QNAP)
• Setting up VLANS and Inter VLAN Routing. (L2 and L3 networks)
• Implementing and troubleshooting Exchange 2003/2007/2010/2013/2016
• Configuring and maintaining firewalls. (Cisco ASA/Juniper/Huawei/Fortigate)
• Implementing and troubleshooting managed AV solutions. (Trend Micro, Symantec, Nable AV Defender)
• Office365 migrations and hybrid implementations
• Microsoft Active Directory and Server Infrastructure. (Windows Server 2008 and newer)

Qualifications:

• Senior certificate
• Relevant Microsoft Certifications (MCSE, A+, N+ or other relevant IT Qualifications)
• Relevant OEM certification (Huawei, Fujitsu, HP, Dell)
• Hypervisor qualification will be beneficial. (Oracle, VMWare, Citrix and Hyper-V)

Other requirements:

• Driver’s licence and own transport essential
• Must be willing to work after hours at time
• Must be willing to travel
