    Senior Tech Recruiter - Contractor

    SPAN is a technical strategy & software engineering firm headquartered in San Francisco, with a distributed development team in Cape Town and Jhb.. SPAN’s founders created & evolved everything from iTunes-top-10 consumer mobile apps to Class-2 FDA-regulated cloud-based healthcare systems to the Shazam app. 

    Our team consists of senior people working closely with our founders to create software solutions for global clients like *Pandora *Apple *HERE *Beats Music *Walmart Labs *Major League Baseball Advanced Media/Bamtech *HBO Now, WWE & EuroSport.

    As SPAN's Tech Recruiter you will use your passion and knowledge to grow into a trusted talent partner to our leaders.

    In this role you will:

    • manage the end to end recruitment process for tech roles at SPAN (Software Engineers, DevOps, QA, PM's, Tech Writers)
    • proactively source, attract and recruit elite software engineers and tech talent, ensuring that the candidate experience is world-class
    • develop market intelligence > talent mapping, pipeline development and competitor analysis
    • understand the current tech landscape, workforce and what drives and motivates technologists
    • stay abreast of tech hiring best practices
    • report on recruitment activity and undertake administrative tasks for the efficient operation of the recruitment area and Talent Management at large
    • support the People Ops team with Culture, Morale & Wellness initiatives
    • employer branding and recruitment marketing experience
    • level-up our TA function, in essence!

    Requirements:

    • lives and breathes tech recruitment and loves to provide an excellent service to candidates & internal clients
    • multiple years of tech recruitment experience in both agency & in-house environments
    • HR or I/O Psychology qualification
    • articulate, high level of confidentiality and heaps of integrity
    • self-sufficient and able to work with little direct supervision
    • takes performance and delivery seriously, but not themselves!
