We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Senior UX Researcher to join our International design team. This role will require to be based in South Africa. As an integral member of the design team team, you will work across the full product development lifecycle.
You’re comfortable with planning, scoping, conducting, analyzing and communicating research.
You will lead end-to-end research activities – including driving research objectives, hypotheses, methodology, execution, analysis.
You will need to consistently achieve research outputs needed by the design team and product team for their pursuits and occasionally inform strategic decisions in Product approach.
You will work with UX designers and product managers to understand research needs, and work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders.
You will participate in product discussions, design reviews, strategic research planning and identify new opportunities
Requirements
3-6 years of relevant experience in UX research (some of which in mobile product). Experience in Fin-Tech is a plus.
Experience conducting user research to measure products' user experience and interaction.
Experience conducting mixed methods research, with an understanding of triangulation between qualitative and quantitative methods.
Experience with qualitative and user-centered design methods (individual and group interviews, diary studies, direct observation, think-aloud usability testing, etc.)
Experience with quantitative research (metrics, survey design, response effects, sampling, crosstabs, and statistical concepts, etc.)
