Minimum Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum of a BEd Hons degree with specialization in Intermediate Phase

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:

• School teaching experience in component subjects is required. Ideally, lecturing experience at tertiary level.

 Minimum qualification:

•  A minimum of a B.Ed. Honour's degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Education (at NQF level 8)/ Humanities/Arts/Sciences/Social Sciences Honours degree (at NQF level 8)

And:

• The undergraduate or postgraduate qualification must include a module on Teaching and Learning/Pedagogy.

And:

• The undergraduate qualification or postgraduate qualification must include component subjects to at   least NQF level 6 (usually the 2nd year of study)
