COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Tertiary Qualification will be advantageous
• Valid Driver’s licence
• Fully proficient in MS Office

Experience:

• Three to five years’ work experience in the same position

Technical Key Performance Areas

• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in using construction/concrete management software and tools.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of plant equipment to ensure optimal
• performance and minimise downtime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly, implementing effective solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure timely availability of spare parts and equipment for maintenance activities.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prolong the lifespan of machinery and equipment.
• Oversee the installation, calibration, and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring
• compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure that products meet
• specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of plant operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and inventory levels.
• Manage operations remotely and be willing to work in remote areas as projects require.
• Strict adherence to all Health and Safety regulations, policies, and procedures
