Key Responsibilities

• Manage Site
• Manage scope, time, costs, resources, and risks.
• Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Compliance and improvement. 
• Leads and manage Human resources.
• Communication and stakeholder management.

Skills:  

• Strong management and organizational skills combined with the ability to manage conflict.
• Strong leadership skills (Plan, Direct, Implement, Control, Review).
• Ability to communicate clearly in written or verbal communication.
• Ability to negotiate, facilitate and influence interactions with employees, clients, suppliers, and Third Parties. 

Knowledge:  

• Good understanding, technical knowledge and experience with regards to construction industry and relevant standards and specification (SANS, etc).
• Good knowledge and understanding of Legislative Acts (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, OHSACT, etc).
• Project management principles.
• Understanding of financial management related to projects.
• Computer literate (Ms Office Suite, Scheduling Software, Financial Systems).

Minimum requirements

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying.
• Project Management training would be an added advantage.
• SACPCMP Registration would be an added advantage.
• 5 years’ experience in a site management role on a Construction site in addition to the study time for the qualification.
