    Site Manager - Agriculture Specialities

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • The successful incumbent will be responsible for optimizing production, planning, maintenance, and site enhancements to ensure cost-efficiency, structural integrity, and product quality. Handling site development, conflict resolution, compliance with third-party standards, global production network collaboration, and the leadership and motivation of departmental teams.

    Duties will include the following:

    • Foster long-term, sustainable relationships with customers and service providers, embracing technological advancements for improved plant optimization
    • Cultivate a culture of openness and respect, empowering the team for high individual and collective performance
    • Promote people development, enhance engagement, and facilitate effective collaboration among site functions, while presenting initiatives to senior leadership for buy-in
    • Ensure consistent compliance with EHS and quality standards, both internally and externally, while maintaining a safe working environment that aligns with legal and company requirements
    • Continuously align the site strategy with the strategic objectives of the business while identifying and mitigating associated risks
    • Define Site KPIs and adapt them to evolving market needs, efficiently allocating staff resources
    • Meet financial targets, encompassing capital and fixed costs, by driving operational excellence through lean management, automation, and digitalization across manufacturing and site processes
    • Drive process safety and uphold good engineering practices throughout the organization

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or an equivalent qualification
    • At least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership role in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries
    • Demonstrate a strong foundation in areas like Production, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Excellence
    • Command knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 standards
    • Possess cross-functional business process expertise
    • Showcase exceptional people management and team-building abilities
