Skyjack Operator/ Scissor Lift (FTC) - Olifantsfontein at Impact

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Skyjack Operator to join our team. The primary responsibility of this position is to safely and efficiently operate a Skyjack lift to assist with various construction tasks and projects.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction safety guidelines and procedures, as well as a proven track record of operating heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Skyjack lift to transport materials and personnel to different heights on construction sites
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from the lift
• Regularly inspect and maintain the Skyjack lift to ensure proper functioning
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and projects
• Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation related to equipment operation and maintenance

Qualifications:

• Certification or training in operating a Skyjack lift or Scissor lift 
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably a Skyjack lift
• Strong understanding of construction safety guidelines and procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy materials, up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs to access the Skyjack lift
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
