Desired experience:

• Recent supervisory experience in a grocery supermarket or similar retail environment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Customer-service focused and professional.
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility.
• Must be comfortable with stock control and working with merchandisers.

Duties & responsibilities will include:

• Ensure that the store is clean, organised and customer-friendly.
• Oversee the general day-to-day running and presentation of the store.
• Manage and monitor stock levels.
• Receive and check deliveries.
• Ensure shelves are replenished timeously and correctly.
• Keep accurate records of stock and report shortages or excess stock.
• Work closely with merchandisers.
• Handle customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Ensure customers receive a positive shopping experience.
• Build and maintain good relationships with regular customers.
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are adhered to.
• Ensure products are stored and displayed according to relevant regulations.
• Monitor security and assist with loss prevention.
