    SMB Marketing Manager

    You'll work with key business brands and communities to build brand affinity for Xero, setting a framework for how we prioritise these going forward. Managing our SMB budget you'll ensure we choose the right partnerships with an optimal mix of brand affinity and sales opportunities.

    You'll be flexible and agile, able to use your experience to pull different teams together in order to deliver marketing projects to support subscription and revenue growth. Ensuring we engage and delight our customers in everything we do.

    What you’ll do

    • Develop the SMB strategic marketing plan and tactical campaigns in consultation with key stakeholders, demonstrating alignment to business objectives, innovation and competitive environment, to drive growth and increase ARPU for the SMB segment
    • Lead our SMB strategy to build and nurture key communities via digital channels, monitoring and reporting on performance regularly
    • Own our direct sales channel and work with regional and global teams to optimise digital channel performance that deliver growth
    • Apply our data-driven approach to engaging with SMBs to increase product utilisation, working with key stakeholders in Data, Digital and Sales Ops
    • Brief in-house agency as required and act as project lead, budget control and regular reporting throughout the project
    • Monitor competitor activity and keep informed on trends, innovations, and changes that affect and impact activity plans
    • Work with our Commercial Lead and Ecosystem Teams to understand suitable partnership opportunities that deliver sales growth, e.g. Banks, Fintechs etc

    What you’ll bring with you

    • Proven experience in digital marketing experience within SaaS, dealing with digital funnels, data and marketing automation
    • Experience in creating GTM strategies to launch new initiative and partnerships
    • Experience in working with budgets and partnerships
    • Ability to cross-sell and upsell marketing campaigns to existing customers
    • Strong analytical abilities
    • Strategic and results orientated
