    Snr Key Account Manager: Shoprite Checkers Gauteng, OFS, President Hyper, OK Foods Regional

    About You:

    • You are an experienced sales professional with a proven track record of success in managing key accounts, preferably within the FMCG industry.
    • Your analytical mindset and critical thinking skills enable you to develop strategic insights and drive business growth.
    • With at least 5 years of experience, you possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and can effectively manage customer P&Ls.
    • Your ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams is exemplary, and you excel in negotiations and commercial selling.
    • A degree, preferably with a post-graduate qualification in a commercial discipline, enhances your credentials for this role.

    Main Purpose of Job:

    • As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a subset of sales KPIs and contributing to the overall P&L health of our key customer groupings.
    • This involves building and nurturing regional and national customer relationships, developing commercial selling strategies aligned with business objectives, and achieving sales, profit, and innovation targets.
    • You will also focus on optimizing RGM/NRR and GTN metrics, ensuring executional plans are aligned with national account strategies.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Input into annual business planning and joint business planning process.
    • Deliver and implement joint business plan fundamentals.
    • Drive financial actions to achieve P&L objectives.
    • Develop and execute promotional and pricing strategies.
    • Support the development of shopper activities and omnichannel initiatives.
    • Ensure compliance with KPIs and instore standards.
    • Collaborate with marketing and shopper marketing teams.
    • Provide insights for forecasting and supply chain optimization.
    • Create compelling commercial selling stories based on insights.
    • Foster strong customer relationships and support strategic projects.
    • Manage account administrative requirements with support teams.
