    Director, Business Transformation

    Position Overview:

    The focus of the Business Transformation Office (BTO) is to deliver large-scale transformation and change for the Coca-Cola System by driving the design, development and implementation of key strategic, business transformation and System-wide cross-functional initiatives across the OU and with our Bottling Partners.

    What You Will do for Us:

    • Co-Lead specific initiatives within the scope defined for the BTO particularly focused on their design, progress tracking and ensure they have a clear implementation path within the OU and bottlers’ network structure.
    • Cross-functional – requires massive change across multiple Functions e.g. Marketing, Commercial
    • System-wide impact – requires changes within how we work with or by our Bottling Partners
    • Large-Scale – should impact across the OU, or at least multiple markets
    • Strategic – must be aligned to the Strategic priorities of the OU e.g. Bold Moves
    • Longer time-frame – requires changes that will take 3-6 months to implement; list of projects should be updated/reviewed quarterly
    • Partner with BTO Sr. Director and the rest of the Strategy function to analyze, filter and recommend the list of initiatives that may fit into the scope.
    • Act as a thought leader within the projects being led to drive transformational mindset combined with clear implementation routes.
    • Constantly innovate on processes and methodologies to guide multi-functional teams to deliver the projects both in terms of timings and outcomes.

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience driving the implementation of strategic initiatives and programs, with experience ideally across multiple functions e.g. Marketing, Commercial, Operations and Strategy
    • Has experience in agile ways of working, with a proven success record in several businesses and geographies
    • Graduate Degree in business, strategy or a related field
    • Relevant experience in marketing, business analysis, project management or general management accountability
    • Executive with excellent leadership and influencing capability, able to work in a diverse cultural environment, highly efficient communicator and influencer at all levels.
    • Generalist with ability to adjust, learn and connect towards delivery of high stakes initiatives

    Director, Commercial Channel Strategy , Africa

    What You’ll Do for Us 

    • Responsible for commercial construct (based on Annual Business Plan, Channel strategy, Picture of Success guideline, shopper knowledge) into category strategy and campaigns for defined portfolio. Define where to play and how to win strategies and 360 campaign toolkits inputs, addressing shopper/channel needs across path to purchase.  Delivers via true integration into End to End process and collaboration across system.
    • Leveraging commercial network inputs (Revenue Growth Management, Integrated Commercial Execution, Value to Market, Channel) for commercial integration (eg Distribution/Occasion Brand Package Price & channel strategy) into category strategy and plans.
    • Responsible for the connection of category and channels, with occasion platforms approach.  Collaboration with Picture of Success and network to drive campaigns through to execution.
    • Aid Annual Business Plan input on commercial strategy for the brands, leveraging Customer & Commercial Leadership network.
    • Represent channel input into Monthly Business Review.
    • Be the lens of the Channel in the categories assigned and represent Customer and Commercial Leadership functions in the category extended team. 
    • Support commercial capabilities development within category, leveraging network as needed.
    • Track main indicators, review business performance, and design impactful actions to improve when results are below targets.
    • Continuously share information, insights, and knowledge with Coca-Cola System, developing platforms to materialize those insights into actions.  Integrate into teams, where category business problem.
    • Define value-added programs execution guidelines with the customer and commercial leadership areas to win in the market at the @ Point of Sale based on Coca-Cola portfolio and Channel needs.
    • Central bottler office commercial engagement and alignment.
    • Collaboration with Customer Value Creation into commercial sell in decks.

    Qualifications & Requirements 

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or another related field.
    • 10+ years of leadership experience in Commercial, Shopper, RGM / Customer/Trade Strategy
    • Strong business acumen with broad and deep understanding of consumers, shoppers and customers is mandatory with ability to bridge consumer/brand opportunities with customer relevance.
    • Strong Analytical as well as integrating multiple data points into a compelling, actionable narrative
    • Desirable to have candidates with Customer experience
    • Exceptionally strong leadership and influencing skills needed, across levels within internal and external organisation.
    • The role(s) requires ability to understand, analyse and connect what matters to our Consumers, Shoppers, Customers, as well as the competitive and industry dynamics, macro-economics and forecasts – all of which are required to build holistic and truly powerful propositions.
    • The Role covers multiple markets and is cross functional, working with markets and customer verticals and therefore requires strong interpersonal, leadership, project management and communication skills.

    Director, Execution Intelligence, Africa

    What You will Do for Us:

    • Responsible to step up our execution intelligence and capabilities through digital tools and advanced analytics, in order to accelerate our Portfolio incidence while expanding our margins through better segmentation and execution capabilities.
    • Responsible to optimize and evolve current PICOS and execution based on top line impact, shopper experience and ROI evaluation powered by Segmentation Capabilities. Develop an intelligence engine to better understand the impact of various executional components (Coverage, SOVI, SOCI, Market Assets placement, etc.) and define what works best according to the market conditions and business objectives, as well as prioritize and produce guidelines accordingly to be implemented across the operating unit.
    • Responsible to design effective availability tools to improve our NARTD portfolio distribution across channels. Work on both sides of the equation, Coverage expansion and Out of Stocks reduction by developing powerful methodologies in partnership with our Bottling partners.
    • Responsible to set up a sustainable category management process within the system to maximize our portfolio profitability at the POS and adapt to market dynamics and consumer trends.
    • Leverages advanced analytics for opportunity identification and technology for solutions scalability.
    • Ensures supporting processes and tools for tracking and replicability across the operating unit (e.g. iRED, etc.).
    • Documents Execution designs, tests and learnings, by integrating solid Playbooks for subsequent rollout across the operating unit.
    • Standardizes the use of Execution excellence tools across the System privileging effectiveness, simplicity and productivity. Promotes the use of selected tools across Bottlers to gain uniformity and economies of scale.
    • Oversee the development, execution and improvement of the Execution/Excellence/Legacy Cup across the operating unit to ensure execution is fully aligned with the operating unit strategy and evaluated homogeneously across geographies
    • Standardizes the use of Execution excellence tools across the System privileging effectiveness, simplicity and productivity. Promotes the use of selected tools across Bottlers to gain uniformity and economies of scale.
    • Ensures supporting processes and tools for tracking and replication across the OU.
    • Documents Execution designs, tests and learnings, by integrating solid Playbooks for subsequent rollout across the Operating Unit.

    Role Requirement

    • 10+ years of experience in Channel Strategy, Value to Market and Commercial Execution.
    • Proven Strategic and Analytical Skills as well as outstanding influencing skills.
    • Ability to think from planning to execution and solid system commercial and brand management
    • Highly developed leadership and influencing skills are a must to positively influence our multi-functional system teams
    • Strong combination of analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, strong Consumer and Customer understanding, as well as a hands-on mentality – the ability to conceptualize plans from scratch and very solid understanding of the Right Execution Daily (RED) process and – systems.
    • Desirable to have Bottler experience
