Social Media Assistant (5 month Fixed Term Contract) at Santam Insurance

What will make you successful in this role?

• Support in the implementation of social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies
• Schedule and maintain monthly content plans
• Support the Social Media Manager to manage customer feedback on social media channels (according to SLA) and report to client care, marketing and/orc corporate affairs teams where appropriate 
• Provide support on engaging text, image and video content for social media
• Manage and respond to comments and customer queries according to SLA (including weekends and public holidays)
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent service and a quality social media service
• Stay abreast of social media tools and industry trends
• Adherence to tone, style guides and social media policy as set by the digital marketing team
• Support the monthly reporting 
• Aid the social media manager in reviewing existing social media processes, technology and align with best practice.
• Support in building the social media capabilities for the future.

Qualification and Experience

• Relevant Marketing qualification. 
• 3-5 years relevant experience in a marketing/social media environment.

• Good understanding of Social platforms and tools 
• Familiar with online reputational management tools and technology
