    Soft Services Manager

    ROLE PURPOSE

    • Strong task management, working knowledge and aptitude with equipment, strong communication and presentation skills, understanding of laws, regulations, and codes pertaining to facility infrastructure

    MAIN OUTPUTS

    • Responsible for driving integrated services and strategy for the Client
    • Ensure delivery of efficient service as outlined in the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
    • Implementation of an effective soft service systems in accordance with Client needs
    • Conduct audits services rendered and ensure that prescribed work quality and standards are sustained
    • Ensure timeous sign-off and variance explanations
    • Identify gaps and deficiencies in services, advise and effect solutions as part of Continuous Improvement on services rendered
    • Manage back-to-back SLA agreements with suppliers and contractors
    • Monitor performance and effect corrective action on any deviations to the SLA
    • Demonstrate and instill effective adherence to processes
    • Explore and recommend innovative methods, based on best practices, in order to bring about cost-effective solutions
    • Provide monthly reports and feedback on continued compliance to the SLA
    • Building strategic relationships both internally and externally
    • Manage staff performance & facilitate improvement through regularly monitoring performance & providing required coaching, support & feedback
    • Manage performance & conflicts with colleagues

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

    The Applicant must meet the following requirements:

    • National Diploma/Degree: Property Management, Project Management, Operations Management, or related formal qualification
    • Advantageous: being a member of South African Facilities Management Association (SAFMA)
    • Matric (Senior Certificate)
    • Valid SA Driver’s License
    • 6yrs relevant experience in Services Management, CRM, Property Management & Financial Management
    • MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Project & MS Outlook (Intermediate skill level)
    • Knowledge of OHS Act, ISO 9001 Quality Management, Risk Management Systems
