Software Quality Analyst / Engineer at Derivco

Responsibilities

• Proactively participate in Planning and Design sessions.
• Creates and reviews relevant testing processes.
• Create/Refactor/Review Test Artifacts to ensure that all necessary scenarios are covered in the designed tests, using applicable Test Techniques.
• Identifies product and project risks and plans mitigation and contingencies.
• Has extensive testing experience and ability to identify and complete necessary pre and post-testing checks for environment stability and health.
• Is able to identify and perform testing environment improvements/updates/fixes.
• Able to optimize the Test process, including communicating with relevant teams.
• Supports the deployment process and drives live testing.
• Capable of running sprints and able to collaborate with teams outside the direct product space.

Requirements

• IT Related BSc/BCom/Ndip & 4 years testing experience OR 4-6 years of testing experience
• Relevant technical skills
• Understand the SDLC
• Appropriate problem-solving skills
• Effectively prioritize
• Effective Time Management Skills
• Work under pressure
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot with assistance
• Automation testing experience
• Agile methodologies experience and exposure (Scrum, Kanban. Jira. Devops, etc...)
