    Software Quality Assurance Engineer – Johannesburg (Contract)

    Responsibilities:

    • Make use of automation framework and pre-defined test tools to inspect, analyse, design, develop.
    • Implement re-useable automated test assets to quality assure the solution and its architecture to ensure the overall quality of the solution.
    • Ensure the test automation solution meets the architectural and development standards that are re-usable and scalable.
    • Actively participate in the planning, estimation and sizing of products, features, stories to be delivered.
    • Participate in the backlog grooming.
    • Participate in the sprint planning, test estimation and acceptance criteria per story.
    • Integration into and test automation execution on DevOps pipelines.
    • Report status of testing to the team on a daily basis.
    • Mentor the Software Test Engineers within the team.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelors Degree in IT/ Computer Science
    • 3 years automation testing experience
    • System and interface testing principles and processes experience
    • Performance testing experience
    • 3 years Java development experience(J2EE)
    • Knowledge of Object Oriented design
    • Experience in working with Selenium, Appium, Soap UI
    • SAP Hana/ SAP HCM experience
