Solution Architect at Expleo Group

Overview

• We are seeking two experienced Solution Architects with strong domain expertise in either eCommerce or Financial Services to join the central architecture team. The role is hands-on, requiring end-to-end SDLC involvement, strong integration architecture experience, and close collaboration with business and delivery teams.

Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery: 

• Understand business strategy, priorities, and processes to design technology solutions that deliver business outcomes. 
• Lead end-to-end solution design across multiple applications and services. 
• Define conceptual and logical architectures, ensuring scalability, performance, security, and reliability. 
• Provide hands-on architectural leadership throughout the SDLC (Discovery, Design, Build, Test, Go-Live). 
• Perform design reviews, code reviews, testing guidance, and go-live support. 
• Ensure compliance with governance, legislative, and risk requirements. 

Architecture & Technology Leadership: 

• Participate in selecting appropriate platforms, tech stacks, and frameworks. 
• Contribute to enterprise architecture roadmaps, conceptual models, and frameworks. 
• Identify opportunities for modernisation, optimisation, and innovation. 
• Drive integration architecture across complex systems. 

Business & Stakeholder Engagement: 

• Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders. 
• Provide technical thought leadership and influence strategic decision-making. 
• Ensure continuous alignment between business needs and technology delivery. 

Team Enablement: 

• Mentor and coach developers and engineers. 
• Share best practices and architectural standards. 
• Support capability development within delivery teams. 

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Systems 
• Certifications beneficial: TOGAF, AWS/Azure, platform-specific (ServiceNow, Salesforce)  

Essential skills
eCommerce Solution Architect: 

• Experience across the full eCommerce value chain including front-end platforms, integrations, OMS, fulfilment, and PIM. 
• Industry experience in Retail, Omnichannel, FMCG, or Wholesale. 

Financial Services Solution Architect: 

• Experience in account origination, account management, collections, telco and insurance processes. 
• Understanding of financial systems integration and financial principles. 
• Medium to high regulatory and compliance exposure. 
• Experience in legacy-to-modern platform migration projects.

Desired skills
Technology Environment (Preferred): 

• eCommerce: Adobe Commerce, Oracle Order Management, Amplience, Oracle PIM, payment platforms. 
• Financial Services: Core credit platforms and COTS financial systems. 
• Cloud: SaaS / PaaS-first architecture. 

Experience

• 5 or more years’ experience in IT solutions development and 3-5 years’ experience in solutions architecture  
• Advantageous skills: time & project management, experience developing models 
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect. 
• Strong domain expertise in either eCommerce or Financial Services. 
• Strong experience in complex systems integration. 
• Hands-on architecture and delivery involvement. 
• End-to-end SDLC ownership. 
• Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills. 
• Ability to operate in a matrix organisational structure. 
• High attention to detail, curiosity, and problem-solving mindset.
