    Solution Architect

    The person taking on the role is expected to have an in-depth understanding of all aspects of the digital technology such as Web, Mobile Apps, CMS, CDN, API Gateways as well as channel front- & back-end technologies required to architect all channels, such as

    Retail [stores], POS, dealers, agent call centre, kiosks, mobile app, e-shop and self-service management, social media

    Being an SME should work closely with the Business teams such as Customer Active Base Management, Digital, Consumer and Enterprise to ensure the necessary systems are architected to help the business drive strategies and CVM best practices.

    Technical Skills

    • Understand the Customer Value Management Eco system
    • Build Capabilities, enhance Architecture & introduce industry best practices
    • Worked on Contextual Event Based Marketing
    • Able to understand and write FRS, HLDs and LLDs
    • Ensure our architecture is fit for purpose
    • Manage the integrity of our architecture to maximize longevity, stability, and ease of use when developing solutions on top of it.
    • Ensure the appropriate level of governance when making architectural decisions
    • Balance business value vs architectural integrity when making technology decisions
    • Drive the adoption of new technologies (cloud) and development practices
    • Setting guidelines on technical architecture, best engineering practices and development patterns.
    • Development experience such as Java, Python, Spring, Angular, HTML5, CSS3
    • Understanding of Telco BSS and OSS architectures and applications
    • In depth knowledge of API & different integration based technologies
    • BSS applications & integration experience: CRM, CPC, COM, CPQ, OSB
    • Mobile web (adaptive, responsive), Progressive Web App, mobile app (native, hybrid), APIs (RESTful/OData/JSON) and API design

    • High tolerance for ambiguity – Have the ability to operate with flexibility in an uncertain environment, with multiple demands and be able to assess and evaluate the range of options that should be considered
    • Be your own customer – Customers are our lifeblood. Without happy customers, we’re doomed. So considering the customer perspective - collectively, not just a handful - comes first

    Creative thinking – Continuous improvement is a shared responsibility. Action is an independent one

    Required Technical and Professional Expertise

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (i.e. Computing)
    • Technical certifications especially in vendor products is highly advantageous
    • 10 to 15 years’ total work experience, with knowledge and experience in ICT, Telecom, and/or Tech professional services - B2B sector(s) preferred
    • Identifying technology solutions to expand the channel footprint and penetration rate for unassisted and partner channels is of prime importance and the candidate is expected to have relevant cutting edge technology knowledge and experience in architecting such solutions
    • Digital transformation – must have worked on legacy to ‘new era /digital’ transformation; including scoping MVP and MVA [minimum viable architecture]
    • Proven experience in delivering solutions that are driving customer engagement, penetration and revenue on digital channel

    Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise
